Well, they did end up losing because their offense was abysmal. People would have for sure talked about them as the worst 6-2 team even if they won. It felt like another game this season where they were going to squeak out a win despite not deserving it even slightly. The poor performance of this team all around made it a bit scary that they were able to tie it late and get it to overtime. It was embarrassing to watch as big fans of the team. They had some players not able to make plays and some players starting fights with the opponent. In the third quarter, the Bears were had just one of the worst quarters that they have had in the Matt Nagy era. Well, giving up a touchdown to the Saints in the final seconds of the half really was the turning point of the football game. We know that the Bears defense is so good that if their offense gives them just enough, they should win. Until the final drive of the first half, the Bears kept the New Orleans Saints at bay and even scored some points. The game started off as good as it possibly could. The sky isn’t falling (yet) as far as their playoff chances but with the Green Bay Packers losing, they blew a good opportunity. They needed that win to keep pace in the NFC and they blew it. That comeback to force overtime was needed because of how abysmal they were yet again in the third quarter. They forced overtime after making a little bit of a comeback.
